The mission of the IFIM library is to provide information services and access to bibliographical and full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Institute user community.
Library is an information-enriched center that assists its users throughout their learning process and always works towards fulfilling its user’s information needs. We aim to develop a comprehensive collection of e-publication information resources and prints that are useful for studying, references, teaching, research, and other curricular and co-curricular research needs of the students and faculty of the Institute for achieving excellence in their chosen disciplines. With a good vision, we have planned to cross some milestones towards making an ideal library, by developing a digital library and establishing networking with other libraries to bridge the gap in information availability.
Online public access catalogue provides search facility to locate books and other materials available in the library.
The IFIM digital library is a special library with a collection of digital objects that can include text, visual, audio, video material, stored as electronic media formats in the institutions' server. Users can access the same anywhere in the world by using their user's credentials.
The library has online access to e-Books, Harvard Cases, EBSCO, J-Gate, NLIST, CMIE- Prowess, Manupatra, Westlaw, and National Digital Library (NDL). IP based intranet access for online journals are provided within the campus and Digital Library
The Central Library offers Inter-Library-Loan service to its users for the books and periodicals articles not available in the library by procuring them from other leading libraries.
